77th-independence-day
It all began with an idea to serve the purpose of filling the hearts of the poor kids with joy and giving gifts and sweets on the occasion of independence day. We started off by contacting the Head Masters of various schools in Khammam district. Our objective to bring in a sense of patriotism and joy in the hearts of at least 100 kids was made possible with the support of couple of schools who stepped forward by informing the requirements that the school kids had and what essentials that were missing. W e heartly thank our donor TA Prasad to make it happen with his kind donations.
We stepped forward and collected school books and pencils for the school kids, pens and ledgers for the teachers along with school bags for all the kids the day before the Independence Day. Little did we know the day before that the next day would bring in such a sense of contentment not only in us but the amount of euphoria in spreading the joy in so many people. Started the day at 7 by visiting one of the school to see cute little children coming to the event with elation in them. After interacting with the kids, tagging the Indian flag to their dresses, we started the Independence day celebration by hoisting the flag and reminiscing freedom fighters. We distributed the books and the school bags and sweets. The ecstasy in the kids after this and the sense of euphoria in them just made our day. On our way back we could only think of more ways of conducting these kind of events to bring in joy in poor kids and children. At the end, it was a blissful day well spent. Your help will help us assist in many kids education and for their growth.
