WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Helping old women with supply of food kits
If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation. When girls are educated, their countries become stronger and more prosperous. But unfortunately in India, Indian women in most cases are left behind especially in the rural areas. Though there has been change in the mindset of people in the past few decades, we see plenty of scenarios where the boys are given preference over a girl child in the family.
Families with poor economic backgrounds seem to send their male children to better schools and allow them to peruse higher education while they usually don't send their female children to schools . Even if they do they would likely drop out due to various reasons both from the education and the family side.
In 1991, less than 40 percent of the 330 million women aged 7 and over were literate, which means today there are over 200 million illiterate women in India. Focusing on these problems , we concentrate on helping in boosting the confidence of the women, sending them to schools and counselling families to fulfill their female children's dreams.
Educating them about sanitary caring, aiding them in healthcare by providing the necessary medicines during their menstrual cycle and other cancerous issues which women are facing majorly are few of our primary objectives. We are conducting classes for them to teach them the basics.
Being in villages and from very poor economic background leaves the female children deprived from the society's norms. We provide books, necessary materials to help improve the language and improve their standards as well.
